The Girl Behind ESSE
Hi, I’m Emily — the mom, maker, and one-woman show behind ESSE.
I’m raising two little girls, working two part-time jobs as a server, and building ESSE in the little pockets of time in between. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something I dreamed of turning into my own small business.
I’ve always loved jewelry that feels effortless, timeless, and special. ESSE is my way of creating those pieces — thoughtfully made with genuine freshwater pearls and sterling silver, and designed to be worn often and loved for a long time.
Every piece is designed, assembled, packaged, and shipped by me from San Diego. There’s no big team behind the scenes — just a mom balancing work, motherhood, and a dream that I’m slowly building one piece at a time.
ESSE is still small, and that’s something I’m proud of. Every order genuinely means something to me and helps me continue creating, growing, and making this little dream a reality.
